You know how they say you have a real home and a heart home? Well for me, Miami is mine. It’s my happy place, the place I can take a deep breath and truly relax and let go.
Miami has the best beaches, the tastiest restaurants, fun nightlife and culture, top notch shopping, and truly some of the kindest and caring people I’ve ever met (and not to mention the home of my favorite ladies, The Golden Girls). You don’t even need your passport!
Not being able to travel all of last year, we knew as soon as we were vaccinated and it was safe to do so, we were headed on a south-bound plane for MIA!
We spent a few nights at the Bentley Hilton in South Beach, one of my favorite hotels on Earth. We lounged beachside and poolside, drank lots of champagne, ate some delicious food, and rested. We did a few spa treatments and a little shopping, and truly enjoyed some quiet time.
I’m already planning our next trip there, it’s such a magical place for me.

Heart Home...hmmm. I've lived many places and have been asked which was my favorite and that's like asking which child is your favorite. I have liked them all for different reasons, but one 'heart' home. Maybe the one I'm at now. :)
