Hi there! Today I'm sharing a recap of a trip we took to Boston and Maine:
After a fun road trip full of Starbucks, singing along to Spotify, and taking in the scenery, our 1st stop was Boston. We stayed at my very favorite hotel, the Omni Parker House. Not only did they invent Parker House rolls and Boston Cream Pie, but Jackie O and JFK got engaged in the main dining room! It's such a well kept hotel so rich in American history (it's America's longest running hotel and it's apparently haunted as well, eek!). My mom joined us on this leg of the trip and we had such a relaxing few days together! (Mom and I really enjoyed afternoon tea at the Boston Public Library-I'll be recapping that in a separate post!)
After a few days in Boston, we hit the road again to drive a few more hours north to Portland, Maine. David's family lives in Scarborough, a suburb of Portland and we try to visit whenever we get the chance. We love to get our fill of lobster rolls while we're up there too!
We had a lovely week away and also got in some really good family time. I always love taking trips to New England, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
Here are a few photos I snapped of our trip:

One night we enjoyed dinner at Ruth's Chris-located across the street from our hotel in the Old City Hall building. |

I hired ManiCare (a mobile beauty salon) to come to my room and do a mani/pedi. It was such a fun experience and my manicure lasted a full week! The color is Chanel's "Liquid Mirror" |

We always have to stop at Peach Farm in Boston's Chinatown |
