πŸ’Š Natural Remedies

Happy Monday! I don’t know about you, but when I have an ache or a pain or an ailment, I prefer to reach for something natural rather than a pill. I thought I’d share some of my favorites down below. (Please note I am not a medical professional. Just sharing the things that work for me personally.)

Peppermint-

Helps with headaches and stomach upset. (I always carry Altoids with me in my purse!)

Honey-

A natural cough suppressant and Manuka honey for healing burns and cuts, as well as local honey for allergies.

Ginger-

Wonderful for nausea.

Green Tea-

I have become a firm believer in a cup a day. It’s packed with antioxidants that help fight disease. It also helps lower risk of certain cancers.

Chicken Soup-

Studies show that chicken soup can help ease cold symptoms. There’s a reason we crave it when we’re sick!

Grape Juice-

I know this is an old wives tale but I swear it works. A glass of grape juice changes the stomach pH and helps with stomach illness such as a bug or flu.

Apples-

Helps aid digestion and prevent gallbladder attacks. Also apples are packed with fiber.

Apple Cider Vinegar-

This has saved me from killer heartburn I used to experience daily. It also helps improve blood sugar and cholesterol levels as well.

Cranberry-

This may be TMI, but cranberry capsules as well as pure juice can help relieve urinary tract issues.

Lavender-

Lavender oil has many benefits such as anxiety and stress relief, a natural cure for insomnia, and even has been used as a mild antidepressant.

So now it’s your turn to share! What natural remedies are tried and true in your home? Let me know down below, I love hearing from you.

Thanks for reading, have a fabulous day. :)
