🦞 New England Road Trip 2019

Hello there and thanks for stopping by!

There is no sight more stunning than the drive up to New England in the fall. The fire colored leaves in the bright autumn sunshine is a scene that never grows tired. David and I took a little whirlwind trip to New England recently stopping in Boston, Salem, and Portland, Maine. It was a wonderful weekend full of beautiful foliage, salty sea air, delicious food, and some family too!

Here's some pics from our long weekend getaway:

We always stop in Chinatown while in Boston to eat at one of our faves, Peach Farm.

The Omni Parker House hooked us up with some wine and a delicious cheese board, and even a mini Boston Creme Pie!

The floral arrangements in the lobby are always stunning.

Fall foliage for miles and miles.

I had to try the unicorn cone at Taiyaki NYC in the Boston Seaport.

This was by far the tastiest ice cream we've ever eaten.

David tried the matcha frappe that came in an adorable unicorn float. He's coming with us on all our pool vacations from now on!

Stopping for lunch and some cocktails at Flatbread Co. in Salem

About to join the very long line outside Ye Olde Pepper Candy Co in Salem, our country's oldest candy shoppe!

We were only in Portland, ME for one night but we got to enjoy a lovely dinner with David's parents and catch up! His mom, Lisa, loved the Halloween blood orange margarita, complete with black plastic fangs. :)

We returned home with happy hearts and lots of fun memories made. Can't wait to return to New England again real soon!

Do you have beautiful autumn foliage where you live? It's one of my favorite things about fall. Let me know down below, I love hearing from you!

Thanks for reading, have a fabulous day. :)
