✈️ Dream Vacation Wish List & 🎉 My 35th Bday!

"Since life is short and the world is wide, the sooner you start exploring it, the better."~Simon Raven

Travel is one of my biggest passions in life and I'm always dreaming and scheming up our next trip! While I enjoy revisiting some of my favorite cities and towns, I love exploring new-to-me places even more. Travel is such a privilege, and I'm so blessed that I've had the chance to see so many beautiful sights on this earth. It gives you such insight and perspective of different cultures, and makes you so grateful to return home too.

In no particular order, here's some of the places I'm love to visit when it is safe to travel again:

Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, and Hungary-
I've planned out a road trip that would take us around to 4 countries I'm very interested to see. I am Slovak and Hungarian in heritage and I love seeing where my ancestors came from. I would love to visit the palace in Vienna for an apple strudel baking class, visit the Cathedral of St Peter and Paul in Brno, and stroll along Andrassy Avenue in Budapest.

Portugal-
I would love to visit Lisbon for a few days and take in all the wonderful sights. I'm dying to try a traditional custard cup, visit Ajuda Palace, do some window shopping on Avenida de Liberdade, and take in some traditional Fado music!

Hawaii-
One of my lifelong dreams is to visit Waikiki. I would love to take a hula lesson, spend some time in the sand, and experience everything Island Life has to offer. I would love to renew our vows there too!

Japan-
I took a silly internet quiz a while ago about where in the world is my dream vacation destination for my personality and Japan was the answer! I would love to visit Disney Sea, walk the Rainbow Bridge, and visit the opulent Ginza district as well as the Meiji Jingu Shrine.

UAE-
Last but not certainly not least is Dubai! I want to do all the touristy things such as afternoon tea at the glamorous Burj Al Arab, take the elevator up to the Burj Khalifa observation deck, haggle at the gold souk, and ski the slopes inside the Mall of the Emirates.

I'll be sure to update this blog post with my ever growing list. I want to see so many places, and I love doing research on new-to-me cities. Do you have any dream vacations? Have you been to any of the above locales and have some advice for me? Let me know down below, I love hearing from you!

Thanks for reading, have a fabulous day. :)

PS-I am celebrating my 35th birthday this Saturday! I can't wait to celebrate with a glass of champagne and toast my many blessings and the exciting and endless possibilities this next year will bring. Cheers!
