🌞 Summer 2021

Phew! This summer has gone by in the blink of an eye! I guess it’s like they say, time flies when you’re having fun. :)

I’ve been having the best summer so far, full of new and exciting experiences. I thought I’d run through a list of some things that don’t warrant their own blog post, but are fun nonetheless.

Readington Balloon Festival-

Although we didn’t buy tickets for general admission, we still had an absolute blast parking on the side of the road and watching all the balloons overhead. Each one is so beautiful and unique and it is breathtaking to watch them all ascend and quietly float overhead through the blue skies. It takes place at Solberg Airport every summer, and is the largest summertime balloon festival in North America.

Bolshoi Ballet @ Regal Cinemas-

If you have a movie theater near you that live streams the Bolshoi Ballet, you MUST go. It is one of the oldest ballet companies and dance schools, founded in 1776 in Moscow. Last month we went to see Sleeping Beauty and it was nothing short of amazing! We’ve seen The Nutcracker a few years ago and that was fabulous as well.

NYC Restaurant Week 2021-

We had so much fun trying several restaurants this year, all at an amazing price point! A new one we tried and very much recommend is Bistrot LeoWe also went back to two of our favorites that never disappoint, Capital Grille and Boucherie in the Village.

Lots of Baking-

I love to bake year round, but there’s something about juicy ripe berries that elevates recipes to the next level. I’ve shared this recipe on the blog before, but these drop scones are a favorite in my house. Here’s the recipe!

There’s something so magical about the warm, carefree summer days that I’ll be sure to miss. Although, fall is just around the corner which means crisp air, sweaters and scarves, and pumpkin and apple flavored everything.

What have you been up to this summer? Are you excited for the upcoming fall season? Let me know down below, I love hearing from you!

Thanks for reading, have a fabulous day. :)
